Less than a month has passed since the confetti fell at Super Bowl LVI, but already the NFL looks considerably different. That holds especially true for the NFC North which has experienced as much turnover in the coaching and front-office ranks as any division in the sport. That trend should continue when free agency officially kicks off next Wednesday.
To fully understand where the Green Bay Packers and their division rivals stand just days before the free-agent frenzy begins, The Leap talked with those in the league about how the four teams have handled the offseason thus far.

Green Bay Packers
Changes: The Packers have done what they can to limit change on their roster and coaching staff. Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers has confirmed that he will return for 2022 with a new contract that reduces his salary-cap figure for the upcoming season, providing badly needed relief for Green Bay. That additional space will partially go toward retaining Davante Adams, the All-Pro wideout to which the team applied the franchise tag this past Tuesday. Other moves, such as extending cornerback Jaire Alexander and a new deal for linebacker De'Vondre Campbell could happen within the coming days and weeks.
