Those are significant issues. The Packers went through four different starting offensive tackles last season, and Zach Tom has already missed time this year due to an injury. The chances of making it through 2024 without someone besides Tom or Rasheed Walker playing at tackle are low. As for backup QB, Jordan Love didn't miss a game in 2023, but that was the exception. I've covered this before, but less than a third of the league had the same starter in all 17 games, and it's still barely 40% when you take out Week 18 healthy scratches. You already know the significance of the kicker situation.
I would add off-ball linebacker to the list too. It doesn't matter how much one liked Edgerrin Cooper and/or Ty'Ron Hopper as prospects. Both have missed significant time and face an uphill battle to contribute early. That position is more important under Jeff Hafley than it was under previous coordinators.
Seems like the only worrisome holes on the team are OL depth, backup QB, and kicker. Feeling strong elsewhere, if not very super-starry.
