Just how much will the loss of Davante Adams be felt by the Packers offense with Aaron Rodgers?
To hear some pundits tell it, Davante Adams made the whole offense work. Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t consider himself a pundit, but he did say—with Matt LaFleur’s confirmation—the offense with Adams centered around his virtuoso talent on roughly 80% of passing concepts. But that doesn’t mean the Green Bay Packers will lose 80% of their offense with Adams heading to warmer climates. Those targets are still going somewhere. The question for LaFleur and Rodgers will be where, and how many, and how efficient can they be? To that end, I want to find out if we can quantify just how much value is now wearing silver and black, and if that duo of Rodgers and LaFleur can backfill the hole he left.
