Fantastic Needs and Where to Find Them, part 2
Searching for where the Packers' roster could use a boost and where to find help in the draft, finishing with offense
The Packers don’t need a lot of help to get to where they want to go in 2022 which is presumably Glendale, AZ. But they have to know how to get there and finding some offensive firepower will no doubt go a long way. On Wendesday, we went over needs on defense, and where the history of the draft tells us those players can be found. Today, we turn out attention to offense, pinpointing where Green Bay most needs reinforcements and where they can find them.
Like Wednesday, we will stack positions based on positional value, try to determine how pressing the need is, and then, perhaps most importantly, where in the draft history says these players are best targeted.
Quarterback
Aaron Rodgers is back. Jordan Love is under contract. For now at least, this team doesn’t have the luxury to be planning for the distant future, which in this case is anything past 2023. They’re not taking a QB.
